36 week Dr appointment

I had my 36 weeks Dr appt today! Not too much has changed since last week. He's really low and in position but he's just hanging out for now. I'm 50% efffaced, not dialated yet. So he could get here tonight or he could take his time for another couple weeks. I hope he doesn't take a long time since he's already a big boy but I guess it's okay if he's not quite ready yet. We're just soo anxious to meet our little guy! Well the next appointment is next Thursday. Hopefully I'll be 100% effaced and a little dialated. I'll update y'all.

Huge updates!!!!

Boy is there alot of catching up to do! I'm currently 36 weeks! I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes so I've been trying to regulate and control my blood sugar levels. I miss my sweet tea but I will say proudly that ever since I found out I had gd, I haven't gained any weight! WooHoo! Now Jaxon on the other hand is gaining tons of weight. At my 35 week appt on Dec 30, 3008, the sono tech confirmed that he was weighing in at 6lbs 13oz, which is big for his age. She says that my due date, by his weight, is Jan 19th! I go back to the Doctor this Friday, Jan 9, 2009 to speak with my actual Dr. Hopefully I will know more about when we can be expecting our little one to arrive. I'm hoping it will be in the next couple of weeks because i have reached the point where I am miserable all the time!I will definately do my best to give everyone an update after the appointment.

Since it's been a long time since I've written, here's the latest updates:

***Thomas proposed to me on December 7, 2008 at the Gaylord Ice Exhibit. It was amazing and I wouldn't change anything for the world! We don't have a date set yet. Here's a few pics:

Here are some pics of our new apartment. We got moved in mid-Dec. It's still a huge work in progress but so far it's looking real good. Pictures don't do any justice either!

We had a baby shower on November 22, 2008. We got tons of goodies. I am starting to think that Jaxon has more clothes than me now, and that's hard to do hehe. We still need a few things but the things that we need are things that can wait till after he's here. Now we're just playing the waiting game.

Update on pretty much everything! :)

Well it's been a while since I've been here so I figured i would give everybody a little update! October 6 was my last Dr appt. Everything went well! Jaxon's heart rate was 158/minute. It was just beating away and was the sweetest thing ever! The Dr has started to measure my belly with a measuring tape now. I did not want to know exactly how big it was, lol, but she did tell me that I'm measuring a few days to a week ahead of my due date. So we may possible have ourselves a January baby! Or a really really HUGE baby! HeHe! Lucky me, huh?

My next appointment is November 3. And I get to take the gestational diabetes test then. I hope and pray that everything is okay and also that I don't get too sick from drinking the nasty drink they gave me. On Oct 29, I get to be a preggo model for a college sonography department! That means I get to see little Jax again! And he should be taking some of my fat from me now hehe.

Today after work, Thomas is picking me up and we are headed to Nacadoches for the weekend! I'm so excited because I've only been around his family once because they're in East Texas and well, I'm in Ft Worth. It's going to be a fun and exciting visit! And i absolutely cannot wait to get there.

Oh yeah, Baby Jaxon is registered at Walmart and Target! You can look the registries up by Jessica Swaner or Tom Stanley! And if Jax is anything like his momma.... he loves getting presents! :)

I got to see Jaxon today! 22 Weeks Pregnant!

Well, here I am at 22 weeks pregnant with Jaxon!

I've had one exciting day today. I got to get a sneak peak at Jaxon! There's a college next to my work and the lady head of the sonography department did a 3d/4d sonogram for me this morning. There's 4 videos and she gave me 6 pictures. The pictures aren't too good. Here's the 2 best pictures from this morning:

Jaxon wasn't cooperating much. His arms and hands were above and all around his face. He also had the umbilical cord in his hands and he was trying to chew/suck on it. Yea, gross tell me about it. But he's at the point where he's figuring out everything around him. And he's grasping onto everything. The Dr said it was completely normal! lol. He still looks somewhat alienated because he has no baby fat yet! But he was soo cute! I'll go back October 29, 2008 to be a pregnancy model for a sonography seminar so I will have more pictures then and he will have more fat. I told him he could take all of my fat if he wants but he hasn't yet, hehe!

Well I guess I should update everyone and announce that we will be having a little BOY!!! We found out on Monday September 8, 2008! We are so excited! And I can't stop shopping! Haha! Here's the latest pics of our little *Cowboy in training*! I'm sorry they're not the best pictures or the best quality, but without having a scanner, you make do. We will be getting the 3D/4D sonogram on November 8th so be sure to check back for those pics of our little JAXON KADE STANLEY!
